Our new love.........Pecorino cheese!
Friday, May 19th- It's 82 today; the weather has remained great for us.

We had decided to throw out all of our lists of 'must sees'. It is too hard of a pace to keep up and still enjoy ourselves. So, we are trying to take Peppe's advice to 'stop and enjoy'. In keeping with that, we drove to the small hill town of Pienza which was the home of Pope Pious II. It is also the home of Pecorino cheese. As you walk into town, the smell of Pecorino cheese fills the air. Almost every store sells it. The cheese is incredible as is the town. We strolled around and just enjoyed the incredible views of Tuscany. We stopped at Latte di Luna. I had an incredible Taglietelli al Tartufo. Actually, Ken ordered it,and I ate half of it. We had accomplished our goal today of slowing down and 'carpe diem'.

We can't believe that we are almost to the end of our journey. While we continue to have a great time, we are missing you all. Until later, Sally
